Cuevas Castillo

The unusually overcast sky proved to be disappointing and has limited what can be posted here. However, there are a few results that I am pleased with.

View through defensive port. I exposed & focused on the tree and applied fill-in flash at lower intensity to properly expose the stonework. Warm up filter applied.

Close-up of underside or spiral staircase, much enhanced contrast plus warm up filter.

Very good shots from a challenging day, rewarded by looking for the more unusual subject matter. When it's dull and colours are more subdued, we have to look more at form... These both work well.
