I looked out of the lounge window and saw this dark and threatening sky.

Vic,
You've done well to capture this threatening sky (skies can often look flat).
Really good multi-layered clouds with subtle colours and a real sense of foreboding.

Really it was just a matter of luck to look out of the window at the right time, but sometimes that's what it's all about!
