Mojacar Pueblo - January 2013
Folks,
We were extremely lucky to have such a gorgeous day to wander around the pueblo today, considering how bad the weather got later on in the day! Here are a few from the shots I took today (bit of a blue & white theme going on!). As always, C&C welcome...
(ISO 100 : Shutter Speed 1/400th : Aperture f6.3 : Focal Length 10mm)
(ISO 100 : Shutter Speed 1/250th : Aperture f8 : Focal Length 50mm)
(ISO 100 : Shutter Speed 1/320th : Aperture f6.3 : Focal Length 11mm)
(ISO 100 : Shutter Speed 1/640th : Aperture f6.3 : Focal Length 10mm)
(ISO 100 : Shutter Speed 1/320th : Aperture f8 : Focal Length 62mm)
Rgds,
Howard

And why not??
Picasso had his blue period, is this Howard's blue and white period ?
Seriously I like them, you have a very saturated sky; did you have a polarising filter on the lens?
Maybe I would have lost the railings in the last one but as in everything it's a matter of taste.

Vic,
No, I didn't use a polariser, preferring to take shots pointing North-ish to use 'natural polarity' with the sun, and getting the deepest blue.
However, I did tweak the 2nd 'window' image with a slight histogram adjustment. Other than that, just a bit of cropping and minor sharpening.

Who would of thought these were taken in January.
Love the saturated blue skies. Particularly like the third
shot with the shaped shadows of the leaves and ironwork.
