Bedar Field Trip with a little "Point & Shoot" camera

Really good collection of photos Kaye, which proves what has been said, that you don't need a fancy expensive camera to capture worthwhile shots. The first shot has real impact with the Bouganvillia in the foreground and the white building behind, with a splash of blue sky... Nice! I also like the composition of the two statues. In the last shot, the detail of the railings, I feel, gets lost in the cluttered background, and may have been better taken from a lower angle set against the blue sky. That said, still a very good set!

Nice set of pics.
I agree with Howard, don't worry about equipment, good pics are 90% about composition & lighting & less than 10% about equipment.
Think more about composition, take loads of pics at different angles etc (it dont cost anything with digital cameras)
