Glad you enjoyed the day out, it really was great weather for our visit.
It was nice to have the time to sit down for a chat too.

What a cracking shot that is of the Egret... He was a bit of a poser! He stands out just enough from the background, and is well placed in the shot.
Also very much like the view through the window image... Not sure if it looks better with the strip of sky cropped off the top or not... Very nice though.

When I was cropping that picture I wasn't quite sure where to crop as I did not really want to lose top of ridge tiles but agree with you that blue sky does need to go as its too powerful. Will try it now without blue sky.
