I wrote a short article a while ago for my website, which may be of interest to club members, particularly those who are new to digital photography. It covers the basics of photography including exposure and composition. It's by no means a definitive work, but may give a basic understanding of some salient points.

Of course, there are many more sources of information on the net for further reading.
